ギリシア料理とMax Brennerホットチョコレート

A great evening in the Sydney city.
Greek food at Athenian@Barrack Street with Daniel,a dormitory mate, who is a half Greek and half British but he is more of a English gentleman i must say.( he must be very happy to see this).

The menu with the picture of the mighty greek goddess of Wisdom and War, Athena on the cover. I'm a great fan of greek mythodology and i adore Athena.

Appetizer-- Taramosalata, fish row dip with caviar and olive oil, accompanied with bread...i love the taste!

Greek salad..fetta cheese!

This is another appetizer-- Cheese Filo Turnover

Main Dish--- Moussaka, traditional greek style mince meat between layers of eggplant and potato topped with a Bechamel sauce

Desserts-- Turkish Delights, these cost $2 each:(, good experience though

The real greek dessert--Baklava, this sounds very italian, well italy and greece are situated next to each other and the romans brought(or should i say copied)greek culture into italy since ancient times.

The restaurant...famous sites in Greece. I think that's the Parthenon.

Hot chocolate@ Max Brenner. Max Brenner in Australia is so different from the one in Singapore. The cafes(more and more branches coming up) are so warm and cosy and it's always fully packed with hot chocolate lovers. I love the earthy colour tones used in the cafe. I had a American Marshmallow Hot Chocolate and Daniel had a Danish Toffee Hot Chocolate. How cute are the hot chocolate mugs! They cost 25 bucks each.

Can you see the marshmallows.....

We went to the new Apple builiding at George St. It looks as cool as the apple builiding in Tokyo, maybe a bit smaller though. I like the design of the steps, haha, looks futuristic to me. We took so many pictures just on these steps, pretty hilarious.

Giant IPhone!!!!

Martin Place, Pitt Street, George Street....The Tiffany store...

Prada...what will Prada be up to for Spring/Summer 2009? Looking forward to the new season.

I saw this shop called the Flower Man at somewhere near to Circular Quay.

Love Love,
Christine
