16th March

My Beauty Diary Chocolate Masks arrived! I was quite surprised that they will give me the boxes as well although they look quite wrinkled. Nice chocolate scent from the masks paired up with a warm mug of hot cocoa......that will be a nice way to spend the afternoon.

I bought a Hello Kitty X MAC Kouture lipgloss(i can only collect it end of this month) and they were nice enough to give away one hello kitty balloon to me.

A Kiehl's facial scrub for me too. I found the grains to be too fine...i prefer coarser grains, feels cleaner.

My monthly dose of Cancam( my favourite magazine since 13 years old!!!)
Some pages from the magazine...i am intending to buy the next issue in Japan next week:)

Free L'occitane Rose Body Milk sample inside and massaging tips!

I am going to get this Jill Stuart perfume when i go to Japan next week. It's available in Singapore but i dont feel good buying it from blogshops at a marked up price. It has a nice floral fruity scent, very lady and feminine.

I want to get some Peach John lingerie in Japan too.

Spring Cosmetics

Goodbye Yamada Yu......

Spring Hairstyles, the hairstyles still look the same as before. When i flipped through Cancam from 3 years ago, the same hairstyles were being shown too....

Captain is in Amsterdam at the moment, coming back on wednesday morning...i am still knitting the scarf and have decided to add some fringe to it. Please go with me to Orchard on Thursday to buy boots and some springwear, okee?

Next Knitting Project

I am going to knit a ipod case for Captain as my next knitting project! It seems like i am into the knitting craze right now.

What colour should the ipod case be?

some dark colours preferably.

dark blue?

My new knitting yarn....these are thicker and 50% wool...i can't find 100% cashmere wool at Spotlight, I guess that i will need to go to Jurong Point to get them instead.
These new yarn are really thick and warm and might come in handy when Captain goes for flights in Alaska,China or Europe during freezing winters but on the other hand, they are not as soft as i want them to be....but the choices for yarn at Spotlight are kind of limited.

Maybe Captain should get me some cashmere yarn from USA or Europe...they might be cheaper. My cashmere yarn are still stuck in Australia!!!!!Ok i should stop ranting about this...but i just cannot help thinking of them and my wooden needles. Hope that Captain can help me to find Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque in US.

I spent a bomb on my Albion Whitening Milk today...$97....the price is comparable to the Shiseido moisturiser that i used to use. There are numerous raves on this Albion whitening milk. Albion doesnt have a counter in Singapore so i need to purchase their products through this beauty salon called The Skincare at Lucky Plaza. Yes what a place for such great products. In Japan and Taiwan, Albion is of heavenly status! Taiwanese girls go crazy over their chiffon foundation and their best seller of all times- Albion Skin Conditioner which can help to prevent roughness of skin and calm down angry zits and sensitiveness of skin. But beauty comes with an expensive price tag. I am thinking of getting SKII Facial Treatment Essence again, maybe i should get it at the airport. Anyway, i have placed an order for 20 My Beauty Diary Chocolate Masks!!! These chocolate masks aids in clarifying and brightening of skin tone. I might be going for erbium laser when i return from my japan trip. Beautiful skin is on the way!!!!

Mummy bought Imedeen for me the other day and i find them too expensive but she insisted that i should take them regularly for maintenance. There's truth in what she said. Women should always take good care of their looks at all times and ages. I dont want to end up looking like an old hag with skin hanging loosely and pigmentation all over my face when i gets older. The beauty consultant recommended me Imedeen Radiance as i am still below 25 and just require some help in protecting and maintaining my skin collagen and moisture levels as well as to keep my epidermis healthy. After she scanned my skin, i was even more determined to protect my skin from sun damage. That's when all the free radicals attack your skin cells and collagen, breaking them up and caused premature wrinkles and unwanted pigmentations.

My new bottle of Shu Uemura Classic Cleansing Oil, i have been using them for almost 4 years. Many people commented that Fancl cleaning oil is good but after trying both brands, i will still prefer Shu Uemura as their oils are lighter in texture and more worth the money as they are packaged in larger bottles and will be cheaper than Fancl in the long run. After all, Shu Uemura founded the Cleansing Oil and Fancl is just another follower.

My MACXHello Kity Lipglass lipgloss in Nice Kitty. Don't be turn off by the bright neon pink, it actually goes on quite subtle on your lips and looks great when you pair up with a lip colour underneath it.

Captain and I bought some luggage tags@Daiso the other day. $2...looks cute! Captain's luggage tag is black in colour though.

Christian Lacroix will be holding an exhibition on his costume designs throughout the years in National Museum from 20th March!Christian Lacroix is one of the few fashion designers whom i really respected apart from Tom Ford, Yves Saint Laurent and etc. That reminded me of the Paris Opera Ballet performance in Sydney almost 3 years ago when he was the designer for their splendid costumes. Sentosa~

This is a late blog entry from last week before the lightning striked our beloved Merlion. I was talking about the antenna on the Merlion and asked Captain whether there is really a need to install it as i thought that the Merlion looks short and there is only a low possibility of being striked by the lightning.I had absolutely no intentions to curse the Merlion and to my surprise, the lightning striked it of all things the following day:) Poor Merlion, hard on you buddy....you must be screaming in agony.

We had New Zealand Natural ice cream in Kiwi flavour but it turned out tasting like melons...

Captain and I had our dinner at this restaurant called???..i can't recall the name.
We ordered the Lobster Nonya Laksa which i will give 5 out of 5 stars for its thick, aromatic gravy. Service was prompt as there were not many guests at that time, except for the Japanese student group. Instead of clams that you can find in Laksa sold in food centres, they substituted them with succulent mussels. After eating their laksa, i was inspired to cook my own laksa too(which i have not).

We tried to use this special lens given by Captain's father to take pictures of lights. The lens will help to create the sparkling effect set off from the lights. Lovely!

This is the most dazzling construction site in Singapore! It's actually the IR area..

Wanton Noodles

Captain and I had Pontian wanton noodles@Kovan today for lunch...Nice crispy fried wanton
The stall looked popular...

Hello KittyXMAC party

I will be going down to Vivo to collect my preordered lip gloss and see what they are having for the show...sounds interesting.....i am still knitting.......
