Dormitory Commencement Dinners 2008

I was looking some photographs taken in Australia and stumbled upon these taken during the commencement dinner at my university's dormitory. It is a tradition to have a tri-college dinner on the first wednesday of every new semester. Girls will dress up in frilly dresses and guys will be in shirts and ties. Frankly speaking, commencement dinners are the only times of the year when we will get to have "proper dinners".
During the rest of the days,dinners are simply horrendous...
Good old Aussie days when Bondi Beach is only a 20 min bus ride away.....

2nd Commencement Dinner in Winter(July in Australia)...Early Christmas Dinner,haha.
It was freezing cold.....and everyone wore barely enough to keep them warm..
